Who We Are
Culture Shock Bead Co is an Indigenous owned business, founded by Kat Pasquach and her mother Maryann, the bead shop began in Kat's little kitchen apartment back in 2020. Our family is from the Mushkegowuk region of James Bay and we are members of Moose Cree First Nation.
Now living in the most southern city in Canada, locals know the region as Waawiiatanong or Windsor, ON, we recognized the need for craft supplies that catered to Indigenous beadwork styles.
Quickly growing into a bead and crystal shop, we chose a little retail space not far from the downtown core, tucked away on the Erie St. West (we are at the corner of Victoria and Erie).
Taking pride in great customer service and affordable prices, we focus on competitive pricing and high quality beading supplies. As jewelry makers ourselves, we collectively have over 60 years of crafting experience.
